Mothers Against Cancer helped families celebrate Mother's Day at Texas Children's Hospital on May 6. They delivered parking passes worth $115, allowing families to park free for nine visits; cuddly teddy bears for the children; and roses to each of the mothers. Among those receiving the gifts were former MAC honoree Grant McTaggart and his parents, residents of Kingwood.

After learning that Sonic was Megan's favorite restaurant, and unnamed MAC supporter gave her $50 gift cards every month for three years.
Mothers Against Cancer (MAC) held their 22nd annual Holiday Luncheon, "Unwrap A Miracle," Dec. 6, at the Kingwood Country Club. Their honoree, Megan Wise,16, was in attendance and was glowing. Mother's Against Cancer would like to thank all of their donors in the community for their continued support and for all the wonderful auction items they received for their raffle. On Dec. 14th, the MAC Committee was thrilled to deliver a check to the hospial for $285,000.
Mothers Against Cancer purchased parking tokens from Texas Children's Cancer Center to help out community families. The tokens are worth $115 and will allow families to park free for nine visits. They delivered one to Leo Yoc, with Chachi's Mexican Bar and Grill, along with Valentine goodies. Leo's son is doing well and receives treatments twice a month from Texas Children's Hospital.
