Gerardo will be in the 5th grade at Hidden Hollow Elementary next year. He has a twin brother, Luis, and two older sisters, Aileen and Jannel. He is being treated for a very rare abdominal tumor. His parents are Alicia and Luis Martinez.
Since 1989, MAC has selected someone to honor at the annual luncheon. Sometimes it has been a doctor and at other times it has been a child who has had to face cancer. Follow the link below for a list of all the MAC luncheon honorees.

Special Guest - Henry Friddle
Henry is 4 years old and had an eye removed this year due to cancer. His parents are Michelle and Stewart Friddle and his grandmother is Janet Friddle. The Friddle family are longtime residents of our Kingwood community.

Since its inception, MAC has hosted a luncheon on the first Monday in December. The success of this luncheon has led to the majority of our contributions to research. To date, MAC has donated more than $5 million to Texas Children’s Cancer Center for children’s cancer research.
